Johan Furstenberg

Johan Furstenberg is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as VP, Finance and Corporate Controller at Certinia since October 2021, Johan previously worked as Corporate Controller at Visby Medical, where significant improvements were made in processes and controls aimed at preparing the organization for a public company status. Johan's tenure at Juul Labs included roles as VP Corporate Controller and VP Technical Accounting and Reporting, where responsibilities encompassed managing a large accounting team and overseeing the consolidation of global books during a period of rapid growth. Additional experience includes serving as CFO for North America at Selligent Marketing Cloud and a long career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading audit teams and advising on complex accounting issues. Johan began a career in finance as Chief Tax Inspector at the South African Revenue Service and has a solid educational background with degrees in Accounting from the University of Port Elizabeth and Nelson Mandela University.
