Kandyce Coston

Kandyce Coston has a wide range of experience in instructional design and course development. Kandyce has held senior roles in various companies, including Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business as a Senior Content Development Manager and InContext, LLC as a Senior Instructional Design Consultant. In these positions, they provided expertise in online course development, curriculum development, instructional design, project management, and product documentation. Kandyce also worked with K-12 and higher education institutions to implement new online course offerings and systems.

Additionally, Kandyce has worked as an Assessment Developer at Western Governors University and as a Senior Instructional Designer at K12, where they coordinated K-12 online course development and produced curriculum. Prior to this, they were the Director of Course Development/Instructional Design at Ameritas Hispanic Pathways, where they designed and developed courses for Dual Language English-Spanish Immersion programs in higher education settings.

Kandyce's experience also extends into World Language education. Kandyce served as the Director of Curriculum and Course Development at Middlebury Interactive Languages, leading the design and development of over 50 online world language courses for K-12 students. Kandyce also designed and developed a new world language product line and managed a complete development team.

Earlier in their career, Kandyce worked as an ESL Teacher at various institutions, including Utah Valley University, Selnate International School, and Nomen Global Language Centers. Kandyce also worked as a Spanish Teacher at Payson Jr. High School.

Kandyce Coston holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Secondary Education with a focus on ESL, Spanish, Psychology, and Math from Brigham Young University. Kandyce later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Linguistics with an emphasis in ESL from UMass Boston. In addition to their academic studies, Kandyce has obtained various certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) certification from Microsoft. Kandyce also holds the Utah Secondary Education Teaching Certificate in Spanish, Psychology, ESL, and Math. Furthermore, Kandyce has obtained certifications in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification.
