Dr. Robert Kuo-Chung Lin

Dr. Robert Kuo-Chung LIN has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Dr. Robert is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Certis as the Head of Artificial Intelligence@CCAI from 2018, where they utilized LLM and computer vision technologies for various projects. Dr. Robert also served as the Deputy AI Chief Engineer at Hon-Hai Group (Foxconn and Yong-Lin foundation) from 2014 to 2018. Before that, they worked as the Director of Research and Development Centre at Shuttle Inc./More and More Inc., Director of the Information Office at New Taipei City Hospital, and Director of Government Software Development Centre at Tatung. Dr. LIN's earlier experience includes managerial positions at Quanta Computer Inc. and a systems engineer role at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Robert Kuo-Chung LIN earned their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from National United University in 1992. Dr. Robert went on to complete a Master's degree in Information Management with a focus on Statistical Analysis and Education of Software Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University in 2005. In the same period, they also earned a Master's in Business Administration from Kainan University, specializing in Quality Engineering and System Dynamics. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Tatung University in 2013.
