Ellen Kaross

Ellen Kaross has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ellen is currently serving as the Global Editorial Content Lead at Certn since August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Communications Advisor at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining FSRA, Ellen worked at Metrolinx as a Communications Specialist (Executive Communications) from December 2019 to March 2021. Ellen also has experience as a Content Marketing Consultant (Freelance) at Various Companies from September 2013 to December 2019.

Their previous roles include Stakeholder Engagement Specialist at Green Ontario Fund (GreenON) from May 2018 to March 2019, and Government Relations Specialist at Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) from August 2014 to March 2018.

Ellen started their career as a Community Grants Administrator at Evergreen Canada from July 2012 to September 2013. Ellen also worked as a Teaching Assistant at York University from September 2010 to April 2012.

Ellen Kaross has completed several courses related to advanced practices in digital reputation management and life writing at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Ellen has also completed a course in project management essentials at World Class Productivity. In terms of formal education, Ellen has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, where they studied liberal arts and professional studies.
