William Marra

William Marra is currently the Director at Certum Group, where they lead the litigation finance strategy to assist plaintiffs and their counsel in securing necessary funding for litigation. They previously served as an Investment Manager at Validity Finance, LLC, where they managed the lifecycle of litigation funding investments. Marra has also held positions as a Law Clerk for Justices at the Supreme Court of the United States and U.S. Courts of Appeals, as well as an Associate at Cooper & Kirk PLLC. In addition to their litigation finance work, Marra is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, teaching a seminar on litigation finance. They earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Harvard University.
