Swapnil Deshmukh has a diverse range of work experience in the cybersecurity field. Swapnil is currently the CTO and Co-founder of Certus Cybersecurity since January 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at Privacera starting from October 2017.

Swapnil also developed plans of action for mobility, enterprise strategy, enterprise security architecture, automated security requirements, and various security testing methods.

From 2013 to 2019, Swapnil worked at Visa in various roles. Swapnil was a Senior Director from October 2015 to January 2019, where they held responsibilities related to information security. Swapnil also served as Chief Information Security Specialist - Mobile from October 2014 to October 2015 and Information Security Specialist from May 2013 to September 2014.

Before joining Visa, Swapnil worked at Cigital Inc as a Security Consultant from December 2011 to May 2013. Swapnil also gained experience as a Mobile Security Analyst at Myappsecurity in 2011.

Swapnil's earlier work experience includes roles such as Source Code Analyst at Dickstein Shapiro LLP from July 2010 to August 2011, Security Analyst at Internet Biometric Security from August 2010 to July 2011, and Research Assistant at George Mason University from August 2008 to August 2010.

Swapnil'scareer in cybersecurity began at eClerx, where they worked as a SAN Analyst from June 2007 to August 2008.
