Timothy Toohill has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Timothy started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Theater Deployable Communications Engineer and later as a Tech Controller, gaining experience in network systems and satellite communications. After leaving the Air Force, they worked as a Software Engineer at L3 Technologies, where they developed a software tool for satellite image analysis.

Timothy then joined Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS), where they assumed multiple roles as a Senior Software and Data Engineer. Timothy deployed to Afghanistan to implement ad-hoc features and contributed to the development of CIDNE, a full stack reporting system. Following this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LTC Engineering Associates, where they contributed to the development of a high-volume messaging system for an NRO satellite network.

Timothy further expanded their expertise as a Senior Software Engineer and Data Scientist at Pragmatics, Inc., where they implemented a full stack knowledge graph system. Timothy also engaged in freelance work related to cybersecurity during this time. After that, they joined ISPA Technology as a Lead Data Engineer and Scientist.

Timothy then joined Altamira Technologies Corporation as a Senior Data Scientist, where they developed a cloud-hybrid, scalable data science and property graph platform. Timothy led an engineering team in building ETL pipelines and a suite of data science tools.

Timothy continued their career at Deloitte as a Senior Manager (PDM) and Senior Data Scientist while also working as a Lead Engineer and Data Scientist at the Office of Special Technology/Intelligence Systems Support Office (ISSO).

Timothy'smost recent position is at Certus Core, where they hold the role of CTO and Lead Engineer.

Timothy Toohill's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Riverside City College for Mathematics. Timothy then went on to the Community College of the Air Force from 2003 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Timothy continued their education at the University of Maryland from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Timothy subsequently pursued a higher level of education at the University of Maryland, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2008.
