Cssbb Matt Briel (ASQ)

Matt Briel has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Matt started their career at Bonfils Blood Center as a Phlebotomist/Lead and later worked as a Compliance Support Specialist and Component Manager. Matt then joined UMass Medical School where they served as a Program Manager and later as a Program Director in Liberia. After that, they worked at Grifols as an Operations Manager. Currently, Matt is working at Cerus, where they have held various positions including National Account Technical Manager, Senior National Account Manager, Senior Manager of Insights and Analytics, and Associate Director of Business Insights & Analytics.

Matt Briel, CSSBB (ASQ), holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Colorado State University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Matt then pursued further education and earned a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global, completing the program from 2015 to 2017. During the same period of time in 2015, they also obtained a Certificate in Strategic Innovation and Change Management from Colorado State University Global. In 2018, Matt achieved the certification of Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from ASQ - World Headquarters. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained the Certified Professional in Business Intelligence certification from Villanova University.
