Vivek Jayaraman

Vivek Jayaraman serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Cerus since August 2016, leading initiatives for the INTERCEPT Blood System, an FDA-approved pathogen reduction system. Previously, Vivek held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Cerus, where responsibilities included overseeing sales and marketing efforts. At Endologix Inc, a transitional consultant role was undertaken in 2016 to facilitate the merger with TriVascular. As Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at TriVascular from 2009 to 2016, Vivek directed global business development for the Ovation Prime Abdominal Stent Graft system. Additional experience encompasses various roles at Medtronic, including Vice President of Global Marketing, where leadership was provided for endovascular innovations. Earlier experience includes a consultancy role at Johnson & Johnson and a position at The Wilkerson Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Healthcare Management from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Biology and History from the University of Michigan.
