Matthew Weintraub

Matthew Weintraub is an experienced brewing and operations professional with a strong background in managing production processes and ensuring quality and safety within the brewing industry. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Cerveceria La Tropical since October 2018, Matthew directs all aspects of production and implements safety protocols and training programs. Previously, as Head Brewer and Brewery Operations Manager at the same company, Matthew contributed to the design and construction of brewing facilities, enhancing operational efficiency. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Brewing Operations at The Tank Brewing Co, where Matthew led brewhouse design and managed brewing staff, and as an Instructor at FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, where Matthew developed curricula for brewing education. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Florida International University and an Associate of Arts degree from Broward College.
