C.F. Cervera A/S is a Danish family-owned company producing Continental Delicatessen since 1916, following the same principles set by its founder: small batches, classical recipes, and a deliberate focus on niche products that cannot — and should not — be industrialised.
Founded by César Fernandez Cervera from Cangas, Galicia, who became stranded in Denmark in 1916 on a business journey from Spain to Russia. The Spanish heritage combined with Danish craftsmanship remains at the core of our portfolio: Worcester, Ravigotte, Piccalilly, Mango Chutney, Capers, no-added-sugar fruit preserves, classical fruit syrups, and Cervera Original honey.
Production takes place at Kløvergaard — a former cooperative dairy from 1887 in Rødding, Southern Denmark — acquired by the company in 1971. C.F. Cervera A/S holds IFS Food Higher Level 8 certification and produces both own brands and premium private label for Danish and European customers.
Cervera also distributes select Spanish premium brands in Denmark: PONS olive oil from Lleida, IDEAL olives, and MOULIN green Madagascar peppercorns.
