Jeanne-marie Ciriacks has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 1994, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of New Mexico, where they assisted with research and editing a publication. In 1996, they briefly worked as a Technical Training Specialist at Intel Corporation. From 2009 to 2017, they worked at the West Bend School District, holding multiple roles such as Curriculum Coordinator, Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Continuous Improvement, and ultimately Chief Academic Officer. During their time at the district, they led a team and served 7,000 students across multiple school buildings. In 2017, they became the Chief Academic Officer at CESA 6.

Jeanne-marie Ciriacks has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Jeanne-marie later pursued a Master's Degree in M.A. Training and Learning Technologies from The University of New Mexico, completing their studies from 1994 to 1996. In 2004, they obtained a Reading Teacher (316) certification from Silver Lake College. Finally, they earned another Master's Degree in Educational Leadership Administration and Supervision from National Louis University, which they pursued from 2008 to 2010.
