Destiny Parker

Destiny Parker is an experienced educator currently serving as a Specialized Instruction Teacher at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools since April 2023, providing hands-on learning and individualized support for middle and high school students. Previously, Parker worked as a Site Coordinator for Sowing Empowerment & Economic Development, Inc., overseeing staff and managing programs for summer scholars. Additional roles include Site Assistant Coordinator at Freedom Schools, 5th and 6th Grade Specialized Instruction Teacher at Wheatley Education Campus, and 2nd Grade Teacher at both Democracy Prep Public Schools and Freedom Schools. Parker's background includes significant experience in curriculum development, family communication, and collaborative planning, alongside involvement in educational policy advocacy through participation in committees and internships. Education was completed at George Mason University from 2013 to 2017.
