Lashaun Franklin

LaShaun Franklin has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as Program Manager at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy since July 2013, contributing to the Administrator Leadership Team and supporting the campus climate and culture. Previously, LaShaun held the position of Dean of Scholars, focusing on leadership, recruitment, and maintaining a safe school environment. From August 2010 to June 2013, LaShaun worked as a Ninth Grade English Teacher and Level Leader, actively participating in curriculum development. Earlier experience includes serving as an English Teacher and Department Chair at See Forever Foundation, working with incarcerated youth and implementing state-aligned curriculum. LaShaun holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Maryland, with a primary focus on English and an interdisciplinary focus on Law and Criminal Justice.
