Shauntaye Fontroy

Shauntaye Fontroy is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in English Language Arts (ELA) instruction and coaching. Currently serving as an ELA Reading Interventionist at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools since July 2020, Shauntaye employs the Get Better Faster Coaching Method to enhance instructional practices and provide professional development for teachers. Previous roles include Dean of Teacher Effectiveness-ELA at Achievement Prep and Acting/Assistant Principal at Democracy Prep Public Schools, where Shauntaye demonstrated leadership in promoting school culture, developing curricula, and analyzing academic data to improve student outcomes. With a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Trinity Washington University and certifications in Reading Specialist and Special Education, Shauntaye is dedicated to fostering effective teaching and learning environments.
