Amanda Areas

Amanda Areas is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, project finance, banking, and capital markets. Currently a Partner at Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados since August 2013, Amanda has led advisory roles for financial institutions, investment funds, and companies in complex finance transactions and legal matters pertaining to Brazilian capital markets. Previous roles include International Associate at White & Case LLP, Senior In-House Counsel during a secondment at Enel Green Power, and various intern positions focusing on corporate and tax law. Amanda holds an Executive MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ and an Executive MBA from the University of San Diego, alongside a Corporate Law Course from FGV and a Bachelor of Law from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
