Norman Badler

Norman Badler currently serves as the Head of Research at Cesium since October 2021. Prior to this role, Badler was a Professor in the Computer and Information Science department at the University of Pennsylvania, where tenure spanned from July 1974 to June 2021, eventually becoming an Emeritus Professor. Badler earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Toronto between September 1971 and December 1974, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Studies with a focus on Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 1970.
