Jaroslav Pešek is an intern at the National Institute of Informatics, focusing on advanced IoT security measures and developing a deep learning-based threat detection classifier. As a teaching assistant at Czech Technical University in Prague, Jaroslav teaches undergraduate and master's courses related to computer networks and combinatorial optimization. Jaroslav has extensive experience as a network security researcher and developer at CESNET, contributing to projects utilizing artificial intelligence for cybersecurity and conducting flow-based network monitoring analysis. Previous roles include programming at Seznam.cz, research assistance at Doshisha University, and web development at Avast Software and SOFO Group. Jaroslav is pursuing a PhD in Computer Network Monitoring and Security at Czech Technical University in Prague, building on a solid educational foundation in computer security and information technology.
