Shaya Movafaghian has over 25 years of experience in various roles within the energy and engineering industry. Shaya started their career as a Project Engineer at an EPC company before moving on to Gastech Engineering as a Project Engineer Manager. Then, they worked at Baker Hughes as a Senior Engineer and later joined Cameron as a Manager for the Western Hemisphere. Shaya continued their career at Veolia as a Technical Manager and then at OXY as a Production Engineering Advisor-Asset Development. After that, they worked as a Technical Consultant before joining CETCO Energy Services as a Director of Innovation and Product Development.
Shaya Movafaghian completed a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa between 1995 and 1997. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in General Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Apart from these degrees, Shaya's educational background does not include any additional certifications or qualifications.
