Daniel Irmer is currently a Technical Research Engineer in Metallurgy at Cetim - Centre technique des industries mécaniques, where they are also pursuing their PhD. They previously studied Materials Sciences at MINES Paris and completed a research internship on chromium diffusion in nickel and alloys. With a solid background in materials science from multiple institutions, including Loughborough University and TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Daniel has a keen interest in the effects of plastic deformation on Al-based alloys. Additionally, Daniel is passionate about trains.
