Glenn Perryman, Territory Manager, is dedicated to the success of teachers and students. Traveling between North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, Perryman is proud to represent iCEV and provide teachers with meaningful curriculum, resources and materials.
Perryman holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications from North Carolina State University as well a master’s degree in agricultural education from North Carolina A&T State University.
Having an extensive background in CTE, Perryman is able to relate to CTE teachers and provide them the support they need to be successful. Perryman knew he wanted to be a teacher at a young age, but he thought history was his calling. He wanted to be a part of program designed to motivate students "to learn by doing."
During his teaching career, Perryman started the first urban agricultural program at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. "It was my greatest challenge, and is my greatest accomplishment as a teacher, " Perryman said.
Perryman won numerous awards while teaching CTE for 33 years. He has been awarded an Honorary American FFA Degree, Honorary State FFA Degree, Governor’s Award for North Carolina Wildlife Federation State Safety Instructor of the Year and he was a two-time Teacher of the Year at R.J Reynolds High School.
"He often reflect back on the difference CTE made in life by teaching me the skills needed to be successful in the world of work,” said Perryman. "CTE not only provides content knowledge, but also student organization activities that lead to leadership and personal skills that he may never have learned in core courses. "
During his time at iCEV, Perryman has been an asset to the sales team. In 2011, Perryman was recognized as the Salesperson of the Year. He was awarded the Aubrey N. Davis Family Memorial award in 2015.
