Kassie Jo, Winn-Huizar, iCEV Curriculum Consultant, is originally from New Mexico, but has called Oklahoma home since college. She holds an associate’s degree in agriculture from Redlands Community College and continued her education at Oklahoma State University. During her time at Oklahoma State University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in meat science. Winn-Huizar was involved in multiple successful judging teams throughout her college career, including the Livestock and Meat Judging teams.
Winn-Huizar has worked as an assistant livestock judging coach, a student coordinator and a Meat Science and Muscle Biology Lab coordinator. In her current role at iCEV, she will be traveling across Oklahoma, helping CTE teachers find resources to use in their classrooms. From a young age, Winn-Huizar has been passionate about CTE, especially agricultural education.
