Fabian Deutskens

Fabian Deutskens is an accomplished professional in veterinary vaccine research and development with extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and laboratory facilities. Currently serving as the Global Director of Vaccine Research and Discovery and Innovation Center Director at Ceva Santé Animale since July 2019, Fabian has a proven track record in project, innovation, and portfolio management, as well as the establishment of pre-clinical development laboratories for innovative vaccines. Previous roles include Head of Research at IDT Biologika and Project Leader at MSD, where responsibilities encompassed developing production processes for viral vaccines and leading teams for livestock vaccine development. Academic accomplishments include a doctorate from Justus Liebig University Giessen, where research focused on bovine neonatal pancytopenia.
