Wagner Covos

Wagner Covos is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in leading significant projects and driving growth across various sectors. Currently, as Project Leader for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games at CEVA Logistics, Covos secured CMA CGM/CEVA’s position as the official logistics partner following a notable performance during the Rio 2016 Olympics. Covos also serves as Executive Vice President for Global Sector Leader in Consumer & Retail, achieving over $3 billion in revenue and expanding market share. A background includes roles such as Interim Chief Commercial Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic and Vice President of Business Development for Latin America, contributing over $300 million in new contracts. Previous positions at Kuehne + Nagel and Geodis demonstrate a strong track record in project logistics and strategic business development, complemented by a Civil Engineering degree from Universidade São Judas Tadeu.
