Marek Wieckowski

Marek Wieckowski has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Marek began their career at Foxi Group as a Senior Software Developer in 2006 and stayed there until 2014. In 2014, they joined Mapscape B.V. where they served as a Senior Software Engineer until 2016. Marek then took on the role of Team Leader/Project Manager of the Location-Input Component at Mapscape from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they worked at SmartRay GmbH as a Team Manager in R&D for their JOSY division from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, Marek joined Topalsson GmbH as the Lead Development Manager before transitioning to their current role as the Team Lead of Software Technology at Cevotec. Overall, Marek has gained valuable experience in software development, project management, and team leadership throughout their career.

Marek Wieckowski has a strong academic background in theoretical and mathematical physics. Marek completed their Master's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Faculty of Physics at Warsaw University in the years 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further specialization in the field and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Division for the Theory of Hadrons and Leptons at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Warsaw University, from 1997 to 2005.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Marek Wieckowski also holds a certification as a Certified Qt Specialist (Advanced Qt with C++) from The Qt Company, which they obtained in October 2010.
