Kasun Ariyarathna

Kasun Ariyarathna is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in electrical design and engineering. Currently employed at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since March 2020, Kasun specializes in electrical design for transmission projects, including significant grid substations. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at CEYLEX Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd, where responsibilities included testing various electrical components for the 132/33kV Kiribathkumbura Augmentation Project. Additional roles encompassed designing off-grid and on-grid solar systems at JLanka Technologies and completing an electrical engineering internship at LTL Holdings, where exposure to multiple power projects was gained. Kasun holds a degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna.
