Pete Szoke

Pete Szoke has had a strong career in Information Technology, with experience spanning over 20 years. Pete is currently serving as the Director of Modern Workplace and Cloud Operations at CF Industries since March 2021. Prior to this, Pete worked at Metals USA, where they held the position of Senior Director of Information Technology from March 2017 to March 2021. In this role, they led a team of 14 individuals and was responsible for business process improvement, data analytics, infrastructure modernization, and supporting 1200 users across 30 locations and two data centers. Before joining Metals USA, Pete was the Head of Information Technology at United Conveyor Corporation from February 2009 to March 2017. While there, they managed IT projects, oversaw the maintenance and customization of Microsoft AX ERP, and provided support for 700 users worldwide. Additionally, Pete has prior experience as the Director of Information Technology at The Care of Trees, where they played a pivotal role in transforming the company's IT infrastructure. Pete Szoke holds a BA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and ITIL v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
