John Eckel

John is a Partner and Director of Capital Markets, where he manages the firm's capital markets activities and is also involved with investor relations, business development, and charitable giving. Prior to joining, he ran Real Max, a real estate private equity firm.

He previously also served as a Senior Investment Banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and specialized in raising debt capital for Fortune 500 and middle market corporate clients.

He earned a BBA in International Business from the University of Georgia Honors Program with High Honors, where he received the President’s Award for Leadership and Scholarship and served as a Justice on the Student Judiciary. He is a former Board member of the Atlanta Contemporary and is active with several other non-profit organizations.
