Finbar McAuley is an experienced professional in the wind energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director at CF Wind Ltd since March 2018, and as Site Installation Lead at Siemens Port of Hull since December 2016. Finbar has a strong background with Siemens, holding various leadership roles including Installation Lead Foreman and Retro-fit Foreman for significant offshore projects such as the West of Duddon Sands Wind Farm. Previous positions include supervisory roles at Dawson Energy and Macfit, overseeing diverse turbine projects. Finbar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jordanstown University, completed in 2002.

CF Wind Installation and Maintenance
In 2020 CF Wind will supply 100's of specialist pre-assembly engineers to wind farm projects around the world. To date CF Wind has worked very closely with WindHoist on projects across Europe (and even as far as Morrocco). CF Wind have their own in-house logistics team and health and safety officer. These team members arrange travel, tools and equipment for all of our technicians. Certificates, visas and vehicles are all arranged by CF Wind. A project manager is assigned to each of our crew - feeding back information to our base in Ireland and to our clients on site. All harnesses and equipment are inspected in-house prior to arrival. All team members are supplied with full PPE to meet global standards and the standards required for that particular country.
