Samson Machiya

Samson Machiya has extensive experience in information technology management, currently serving as IT Manager at Cfb Medical Center since November 2015. In this role, Samson is responsible for strategy formulation, software development, systems and network management, cyber security, risk management, budgeting, disaster recovery, and project management. Prior to this position, Samson worked at Ericsson in Intelligent Networks, coordinating hardware and software support and managing service layer node integrations. Samson also held roles at Zamtel, first as Manager-IT Infrastructure, overseeing networks and system security, and earlier as Senior Engineer-Intelligent Networks, focusing on core network management. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Installation Engineer at ZTE Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Copperbelt University, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, and a Master's in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
