Janan McCormick

Janan McCormick has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields, including healthcare and education. Janan started their career in 2008 as an Exercise Technician at Christiana Care Health System. Janan then worked as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Care Unit at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, Janan became an Executive Assistant to the CEO & COO at GeoBlue. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of a Psychiatric-Mental Health APN at CFG Health Systems, where they worked until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they held the position of Regional APN and Clinical Educator at CFG Health Systems. Currently, Janan is the Clinical Director APN Education and Operations at CFG Health Systems. Alongside their professional roles, they also served as a Lecturer and Simulation Education Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing starting in 2018.

Janan McCormick completed their education at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2009 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. From 2015 to 2017, they continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In addition to their academic qualifications, Janan has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received their BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association. In 2018, they completed a certification in Group Crisis Intervention from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. Most recently, in May 2023, they obtained a certification in Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development from the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
