Charmila Tennakoon is an accomplished accounting professional with a solid background in managing accounting operations and financial management. Currently serving as the Manager of Accounting Operations at CFO Plans since January 2022, Charmila oversees daily activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management. Prior experience includes roles at Nations Trust Bank PLC, where Charmila progressed from Staff Accountant to Associate Controller over an eight-year period. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, an Associate in Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka, and ongoing studies toward certification from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.
