Arun Sundaram, CPA, CFA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Arun began their career as an Associate in Audit at KPMG US in 2014 and worked there until 2018. During this time, they conducted integrated financial statement audits primarily in the financial services industry. Arun also performed independent valuations of multi-billion dollar foreign debt and equity portfolios.

In 2017, Arun took on the role of Senior Associate in Deal Advisory at KPMG US, where they analyzed financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold. Arun developed financial models and data books to calculate and adjust earnings, net working capital, and net debt. Arun also conducted client and target interviews and compiled findings in due diligence reports and presentations.

In 2018, Arun joined CFRA Research as an Equity Research Analyst. Arun quickly progressed through the ranks, becoming a Senior Equity Research Analyst and then a Vice President of Equity Research in 2022. Arun's responsibilities at CFRA Research include conducting equity research and analysis, generating investment recommendations, and providing insights on various companies and sectors.

Arun Sundaram, CPA, CFA, began their education at James Madison University where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems at Virginia Tech from 2013 to 2014. Arun went on to obtain the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in May 2015. Continuing to expand their expertise, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2019.
