Tom Berekoff

Tom Berekoff is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the field of philanthropy and development. As the CEO and Founder of tpb strategic counsel since June 2007, Tom has also held prominent positions such as Chair and Board Member of the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine and Chair of CFRE International since January 2018. Tom's previous roles include Chair and Board Member at GiveClear Foundation Canada until September 2022, Assistant Dean of Development at the University of Alberta, Vice President at Taylor University College & Seminary, and Executive Director of Advancement at the University of Northern British Columbia. Tom's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Philanthropy & Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management/Leadership from The University of Lethbridge, alongside holding the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential since 1997.
