Brianna Stang

Brianna Stang is a forensic toxicologist currently working at The Center for Forensic Science Research & Education since March 2023. Previously, Brianna served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago, focusing on contract management and budget oversight for the Analytical Forensic Testing Laboratory. Earlier experience includes an internship at EMSL Analytical, Inc., where Brianna prepared air filter samples for microscopic analyses, and a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Towson University, conducting research on chemical discrimination in green coffee. Brianna has also contributed as a Chemistry Tutor and Undergraduate Learning Assistant, providing academic support in chemistry and biology. Additionally, experience as a Firearms Examiner/Crime Scene Intern at the Camden County Police Department involved analyzing ballistics evidence. Brianna holds a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University.

Our educational programs include short-term placement for visiting scholars and researchers; partnerships to deliver degree programs at area universities; and continuing professional development for forensic scientists, law enforcement, and legal professionals.
