Erik Clausen

Erik Clausen is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in strategic communications for the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of the Strategic Communications Group at CG Life, Erik leads initiatives in scientific, medical, and corporate communications, as well as social media and patient advocacy. Erik is also a Managing Partner at an integrated marketing and communications agency. As the Founder and CEO of Life Science Network, LLC, Erik created a community for executives and scientists in the biotech and pharma industries, recognized for innovative networking events. Additional roles include membership in the Forbes Agency Council, advisory contributions to mendelspod.com, and leadership positions at College Hill Life Sciences and Schwartz Communications. Erik's early career included significant roles in the Massachusetts State Senate and leading legislative services at Livingston & Mattesich Law Corp. Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and German from California State University-Sacramento.
