Dave Sikkema

Dave Sikkema has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dave currently serves as the Director of Operations at CG Victory since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Regents School of Austin as a Rhetoric Humanities Teacher and Junior Dean of Students from May 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they were the Headmaster at Austin Classical School from June 2018 to May 2020. Dave also worked as a Teacher at Regents School of Austin from February 2013 to May 2018. Additionally, they served as a Columnist at Christian Renewal from January 2013 to April 2015, where they wrote monthly articles on technology. Dave's experience also includes roles as an Oral Historian at JP Metras Sports Museum and a Volunteer Oral Historian at HJ Lutcher Stark Center, where they recorded interviews and managed oral history collections. Dave started their career as a Public Historian/Research Assistant at the University of Western Ontario. Dave's work experience also includes teaching at Live Oak Classical School from August 2009 to April 2011.

Dave Sikkema pursued their educational journey, starting with their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History at Queen's University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Dave then went on to pursue a Masters in History at Baylor University from 2007 to 2009. Later, in 2011-2012, Dave continued their academic pursuits by completing a Masters in Public/Applied History at Western University.
