Before entering the corporate world, Jim was a Major League Baseball player, specifically a left-handed pitcher for the California Angels from June 1967 to October 1968. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science Economics from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where studies took place from 1972 to 1974.
