Amelia Kidd

Amelia Kidd is a Business Consultant at CGI since December 2025, focusing on data analysis for CGI Federal. Prior to this role, Amelia served as a Process Development Engineer II and I at Cree LED from July 2022 to October 2025. Amelia also gained experience as a Project Intern at Eastman Chemical Company in early 2022, where the design and simulation of a global-scale dehydrogenation process were achieved. Amelia tutored undergraduate students in STEM courses at Virginia Tech's Student Success Center from August 2020 to May 2022, enhancing leadership and communication skills. During the summer of 2021, Amelia worked in the Chemical Engineering Unit Operations Laboratory at Virginia Tech, where extensive data analyses and experimental work were conducted. Amelia began her professional journey as a Sustainability Intern at Carilion Clinic, performing cost analyses and evaluations of chemical inventory. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech College of Engineering, earned in 2022.
