Zhiyu (Zoe) Chong

Zhiyu (Zoe) Chong's work experience includes a role as a Project Engineer at cGMP Consulting Inc. starting in April 2021. Prior to this, they were an Intern at Valexcell from September 2020 to December 2020, where they collaborated with engineers on designing electromechanical devices and assisted in quotations and logistics for electronic parts. Zhiyu (Zoe) also worked as a Business Consulting Intern at Zinake Technologies from August 2020 to December 2020, conducting research and providing transition recommendations for new product integration. Additionally, Zhiyu served as the President of the University of Iowa Badminton Club from May 2020 to December 2020, overseeing operations and spearheading member initiatives. Zhiyu (Zoe) gained experience as a Cold Food Cook at the University of Iowa from January 2018 to December 2020, preparing food for large-scale events and optimizing scheduling efficiencies. Zhiyu also contributed to the Engineering Student Council at the University of Iowa College of Engineering from August 2019 to May 2020, supporting students and acting as a liaison to the Dean's Office. In addition, they worked as a Summer Intern at Island Hospital Penang from May 2019 to August 2019, operating various treatment equipment and systems for sports rehab. Zhiyu's earliest work experience was as part of the Sales Support Team at INTI International University & Colleges from December 2015 to August 2017, where they performed data entry, conducted campus tours, and promoted the institution.

Zhiyu (Zoe) Chong pursued their Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSE) degree in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Iowa - College of Engineering from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, from 2018 to 2020, they also earned a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa.
