Prasanta Sarkar

Prasanta Sarkar is an experienced professional in the garment and textile industry with over a decade of expertise in service delivery, project management, and operations. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Service Delivery at CGS since June 2011, Prasanta leads the implementation of the BlueCherry Shop Floor Control System, provides training to industrial engineers, and develops management information systems (MIS) reports. As the Founder and Editor of onlineclothingstudy.com since January 2011, Prasanta has published over 1000 articles aimed at garment industry professionals and newcomers. Previous roles include Associate Consultant at Rajesh Bheda Consulting, where Prasanta focused on management consulting and training, and Asst. Manager of Production Planning & Control at Sahana Creations. Prasanta holds a PG in Fashion Technology from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi and a B.Tech in Textile Technology from the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore.
