Amit Gupta, PhD

Amit Gupta, PhD has worked in a variety of roles in the field of research and business development since 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Research Associate for Ranbaxy. During this time, they performed preclinical studies of various drugs using animal models of Parkinson's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and renal toxicity. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a National Sales Manager and Country Manager, Liaison Office for ADInstruments South Asia (India) Pvt. Ltd. During this time, they prepared a five-year strategic plan for business development for education, research, and pharma markets for quarterly and yearly sales growth. From 2011 to 2015, they served as Country Manager, Liaison Office and Business Consultant for emka TECHNOLOGIES. During this time, they developed new business for preclinical research and pharma markets for telemetry/cardiovascular products and respiratory products to generate US$0.37M sales. From 2018 to present, they have worked as a Global Business Consultant for CH Technologies (USA), Inc. and as an Independent Business Consultant. During this time, they have planned and implemented business development strategies to improve the market share of inhalation research globally and identify new business opportunities. Amit has also implemented and managed the Salesforce CRM tool for better management of customers, along with database design and optimization for sales and support teams. Additionally, they have expanded the global distributor network and guided distributor onboarding to build international sales channels.

Amit Gupta, PhD has a diverse educational background. Amit began their studies in 2000, obtaining a B.Pharmacy from the Govt. College of Pharmacy in Karad. Amit then went on to receive an M.Pharmacy from Panjab University in 2006. In 2008, they earned a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research from Catalyst Clinical Services Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi. That same year, they also completed a General Course on Intellectual Property from WIPO Worldwide Academy. In 2009, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology) from Panjab University. Most recently, in 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Medical Devices Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs from Sheridan College. In 2018, they also obtained a Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills certification from Coursera.
