Samir Talwar

Samir Talwar has extensive work experience spanning several industries. Samir most recently served as the Director of Supply Chain and Performance Operations at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at Keck Medicine of USC from February 2016 to July 2018. Samir also held the position of VP of Operations at Innovate MR from July 2014 to November 2015. Additionally, they worked at Research Now as the VP of Operations and Quality from October 2012 to January 2014 and as the VP of Vendor Management & Quality from August 2011 to October 2012. Before that, they were the General Manager and later the VP Quality, Director Quality & Operations at ToLuna India (Greenfield Online Pvt. Ltd.) from August 2004 to July 2011. Samir began their career as the Head Quality at Bharti Airtel Limited from May 2000 to September 2004. Samir also worked as a Consultant at the Institute of Quality Limited from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader at Aptech from April 1996 to December 1999. Their earliest role was as an Engineer PPC at Mazzindia from August 1992 to March 1994.

Samir Talwar completed a Graduate Healthcare Leadership Academy program at USC + CHLA in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Finance from the Centre for Management Development, Modinagar from 1994 to 1996. Their undergraduate education includes a BE in Mechanical Engineering from SDM College of Engineering and Tech, which they completed from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, they have achieved multiple certifications like Certified Specialist Accounting and Finance (CSAF), HFMA Business of Health Care®, Agile Software Development, Scrum Master, Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
