Shahrokh Kohanim

Shahrokh Kohanim is an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician currently serving as the Associate Director of Emergency Services and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, roles held for over 20 years alongside various leadership positions such as Vice-Chairman and Director. Kohanim has also served as a member of the Medical Executive Committee and Co-Medical Director at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Previous experiences include attending physician roles at multiple hospitals and institutions, including Valley Presbyterian Hospital and Greater El Monte Community Hospital. Educational qualifications include completion of residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and a medical degree from the University of New England, with board certification and fellow status in Emergency Medicine, as well as certifications in advanced trauma, cardiac, and pediatric life support.
