Emily Thor

Emily Thor has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Emily is currently working at Chadwick Martin Bailey (CMB) as an Insights Director, where they have been since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Insights Consultant from August to October 2021, and Project Manager II from March 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining CMB, Emily worked at Northeastern University as a Research Project Lead from 2017 to February 2020. Emily also served as the Director of Applied Research at Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce from October 2016 to 2017, and as a Public Policy Manager from January 2015 to October 2016.

Emily's early career includes roles such as Editor in Chief at The Cauldron from May 2009 to May 2012, Academic Peer Tutor at Center for Student Academic Services from September 2009 to December 2011, Administrative Coordinator at Speech-Language and Hearing Center from June 2010 to August 2011, and Research Assistant at Phonology and Reading Psycholinguistics Laboratory from January 2010 to May 2010.

Throughout their career, Emily has gained valuable experience in research, project management, and leadership roles, contributing to their well-rounded skill set.

Emily Thor has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Linguistics from Northeastern University. Emily also attended the University of Sydney as a Study Abroad Honors Student, where they studied Psychology. Emily has a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Science/Experimental Psychology from Northeastern University as well. Emily has also completed the Women's Leadership Program at Simmons School of Management and GBCC, focusing on Leadership.
