Franchezska Zamora

Outdoor Educator/instructor at Chadwick School

Franchezska Zamora is an experienced outdoor educator and instructor, currently serving at Chadwick School since March 2017. As a co-founder and expedition leader at WYLD since 2013, Franchezska focuses on empowering underserved urban youth. Additional roles include teaching outdoor education at Boojum Institute for Experiential Education and leading expeditions with Outward Bound México since 2010. Previous experience includes serving as an expedition trip leader and educator at Outward Bound Adventures from 1999 to 2013, and as a youth environmental stewardship supervisor at North East Trees from 2007 to 2009. Franchezska began a teaching career at Poseidon Non-Public School from 2000 to 2004 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Studio Ceramics from California State University, Los Angeles, obtained in 1997.
