Sandy Swanson is an experienced educator with a robust background in early childhood development and education. Currently serving as Lead Teacher and Associate Teacher at Chadwick School since July 2012, Sandy facilitates learning experiences and manages classroom systems in a constructivist and inquiry-based environment. Prior experience includes working as an Academic Coach and Tutor at Educational Therapy Services, where individual treatment plans were designed for children to enhance metacognition and executive functioning skills. As an Infant Development Specialist at Child's Play Infant Development Program, Sandy provided in-home therapy for children with developmental and physical disabilities, while also assessing progress using established benchmarks. Additionally, Sandy held the role of Assistant Director/Head Teacher at Phases, An Early Learning Comprehensive, focusing on curriculum development for children with special needs. Sandy holds a Master's degree in Education from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a Mathematics concentration from California State University, Long Beach.
