Betsy Sharon, JD, CIPP/US has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Betsy currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Compliance Officer, and Counsel at Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. since January 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the SVP, Compliance Officer, and Counsel at the same company since 2011.

Before joining Chain Bridge Bank, Betsy was the Executive Director of Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Counsel/Privacy Officer at APS Healthcare, Inc. from 2005 to 2009.

Betsy also has experience working as the Vice President/Compliance Attorney at New Day Financial from 2003 to 2006, as the Vice President/Senior Counsel at Allfirst Bank from 1999 to 2003, and as the General Counsel/Secretary at Fidelity First Mortgage from 1997 to 1999.

Betsy'searly career included a role as the Vice President/Associate General Counsel at Prudential Insurance from 1992 to 1996.

Throughout their career, Betsy has demonstrated expertise in compliance, counsel, and privacy matters, and has been a valuable asset to the companies they have worked for.

Betsy Sharon, JD, CIPP/US has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Emory University School of Law. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Connecticut College. During their education, they also spent a junior year at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Betsy attended Mt. St. Charles Academy for an undisclosed period of time. Additionally, they have attended the ABA Graduate School of Compliance and Risk Management, as well as the Boston University School of Management, where they completed a Mini-MBA program specifically designed for in-house counsel.
