Adrian Fortino has a long history of work experience in various roles. In 2014, they began their career as a Managing Director at Mercury Fund, a venture capital firm with $300 million under management. In 2015, they began lecturing at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. In 2017, they took on a Board Director role at Ambyint, a company that delivers an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Driven automation and analytics solution. In 2015, they also took on a Board Director role at Sight Machine, a manufacturing analytics platform. In 2019, they joined the Michigan Venture Capital Association as a Director. In 2020, they became a Board Director at Aclaimant and Buildforce. In 2021, they became a Board Director at WizeHire and Chain.io. Finally, in 2022, they joined Michigan Founders Fund as a Board Member.

Adrian Fortino received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2000. adrian then returned to the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business to obtain their MBA in Entrepreneurship and VC/PE in 2010.
