Matt Cheek

Matt Cheek is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, and investment across various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Chain Mountain and Venture Lead at Illuman Capital, Cheek also co-founded SpeakTU, a workforce analytics tool focused on pay equality, and is an advisor and co-founder at Pacesetter Tax. Previous roles include Venture Scout at Sweater, Senior Consultant at FamilySearch, and Senior Talent Consultant at Pixel United, where Cheek specialized in recruiting for technical and executive positions. As a co-founder of Eventus AI, Cheek contributed to developing AI and machine learning solutions. Additionally, Cheek held the position of Managing Principal at Highland Principals and Vice President at Focal Point Data Risk, where responsibilities included delivering security and risk consulting services. Cheek earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and an Associate's degree in Business from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
